Young people and mobility: a luxury?

Seminar aimed at exchanging good practices and reflecting on the mobility of young people experiencing economic difficulties or problems related to social and cultural integration, ... What are the outcomes for these young people after they take part in a local project or an international experience? What are the barriers to mobility? The seminar aims to identify findings and propose alternative methods for the promotion of mobility for young people outside the school system.
This seminar is based on the observation that programs and devices to enhance mobility are not really adapted to the needs of young people in unstable situations or experiencing social or cultural difficulties. Nevertheless, supporting their project commitment, their mobility, proves crucial. Which avenues should be promoted?
With a view to bringing change to the situations of injustice faced by many young people, in this seminar we will consider mobility as a multifaceted concept: local or international mobility, geographical, social and cultural mobility.
