Forty recommendations for youth employment

At the youth conference held from 2-4 October in Leuven, young people and policymakers met to come up with concrete proposals for creating employment opportunities for youth. That resulted in forty recommendations on aspects such as guidance, acknowledging competencies and social protection.
The conference was organised on behalf of Flemish Minister for Youth, Education and Equal Opportunities Pascal Smet. It is the second in a total of three EU-conferences which form part of the structural dialogue between youth and policymakers, launched by the Spain-Belgium-Hungary EU-Presidency trio.
