Dare to be amazed! That’s the invitation made by the "FOCUS EUROPE 2010" agenda. It’s full of officially recognised events that will be held throughout the French Community during the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
July 1stthrough December 31st2010 will be a season of culture, placed in “European” orbit, colourful and representative of the diversity and originality of the French Community’s culture.
It’s six months during which to experience the daring of Belgian and foreign artists, of institutions, and of cultural operators keen to surprise and amaze.
Discover more than 80 events, in Belgium and abroad, in this very practical pocket agenda. Eighty events that run the gamut of the French Community’s cultural and artistic life: from plastic arts to continuing education, from film and audiovisual to dance, from music to cultural history, from youth to theatre, and from literature and books to multimedia. Eighty events to meet everyone’s expectations and give everyone something to enjoy.
A "cultural Season" meant both to intrigue and to evoke the Europe of everyday, a Europe that is also built on cultural dreams and projects. With this initiative, the French Community of Belgium wishes all of Europe a wonderful 2010 cultural season, along with the artists of Wallonia and Brussels.
One hundred and twenty thousand Agendas will be distributed at European events during the second half of 2010. It will also be available at cultural centres, theatres, museums, libraries, communal offices, schools (on request), etc. and on-line at: www.culture.beand www.audiovisuel.cfwb.be.
