Europe Direct is organising a Hungarian Week in collaboration with the Hungarian Cultural Institute. The aim is for people to get to know the Hungarian mentality. The inspiration for the event is the Hungarian Presidency of the Council, which takes over from the Belgian Presidency in January

In the run-up to its Presidency, the Republic of Hungary will be putting on various cultural activities in December 2010. There will be an art exhibition featuring Hungarian artists and a concert on the weekend of 10 December 2010. The Trio Presidency is providing Hungary and Belgium’s German-speaking Community with the opportunity to strengthen their friendly relations.
