European walk – Point Vert (Well-signed walks in Brussels with Adeps)
Three marked walks, to be held on Sunday 18th July 2010, are being organised in the heart of Brussels, starting from the Parc du Cinquantenaire, just a couple of steps from the European Institutions.
The European Point Vert forms part of an annual open-air sports programme organised with the cooperation of over 850 voluntary associations in different fields (sports, culture, tourism, education, etc.) in the French Community in Belgium.
These groups are organising, in line with very precise specifications, a one-day leisure activity, open to all and to be undertaken at their own pace without any constraints as regards departure and return time.
The Point Vert Adeps has existed since 1973 and forms an integral part of the weekly sports programme for Belgians since more than 400 000 are recorded as taking part each year.
