Colloquium on Mobility and Health
On the occasion of the Belgian Presidency and European Mobility Week, which will take place in September as it does every year, the Federal Public Service Mobility and Transport is organising a colloquium on the theme of “Mobility and Health”.
All the partners, engineers, political decision makers, researchers, etc. coming from the fields of mobility, health, transport and town planning are invited to participate in this event, which has the objective of
- trying to grasp the complexity of the relationships between the built environment, mobility, health and well-being, from a point of view of sustainability
- better understanding these connections in order to increase comprehension of the impacts of mobility on health, well-being in different contexts.
- presenting tools that will enable professionals and policy leaders in both the transport and the health sectors to take design and planning measures aimed at lessening the negative impacts of transport.”
