September - December 2010: discover the European quarter
The Bruxelles-Capitale region and the Roi Baudouin Foundation invite you to follow a temporary route made up of ten "urban meeting points", from the Cinquantenaire arch at the BIP (centre de la Présidence, Place Royale), via the Place Jourdan - showing off all the European quarter has to offer. Made up of covered colonnades, painted cylinders and hanging parasols, the route can be started from any point.

20 September -25 November 2010: Rally in the European quarter

The Brussels-Europe Liaison Office is proposing an exceptional project to schools - a rally in the European quarter.  For all students in the final two years of secondary school, the aim of this event is to inform them about 'Europe in Brussels' in a fun atmosphere. The rally will start at the BIP (Bruxelles Info Place, rue Royale 2-4, 1000 Brussels). Each group of students will receive a GPS device to guide them round the European quarter. A prize will be awarded to the winning team of the quiz.
