On Thursday 30 September 2010 government officials and entrepreneurs got together for the fourth time in the heart of the European district in Brussels to celebrate 'Brabant Day'.
After three successful editions, this high-level networking event was given a new name and a new logo: 4brabant.eu. North-Brabant, Flemish Brabant, Walloon-Brabant and the Brussels Capital Region are all important economic regions with a strong sense of commercial potential and a good feeling for innovation.
However, Brabant does not seem to have a great deal of influence when it comes to the decisions that are made within the European Union. On 30 September 2010, we attempted to bridge this gap between Brabant and Europe by helping companies find their way through the European labyrinth.
4brabant.eu is organised for all Brabanders who are proud to work in or around the capital of Europe.

11.30 - 12.00: Arrival and registration
12.00 - 14.00: Networking lunch for participants
14.00 - 14.45: EU plenary session with speakers Karel De Gucht, Tom de Bruijn and Herman Van Rompuy
14.45 - 15.00: Guided walking tour to the EU-institutions and locations for the workshops
15.00 - 17.30: Workshops ( more info: www.4brabant.eu)
18.00 - 18.30: Plenary session including presentations, video and showcase with aperitif
18.30 - 22.00: Networking barbecue & live performance (Dubbel Sikx, Big Band Eindhoven)
22.00: End of programme
