The main players in Europe’s healthcare sector have been invited by the HST and EFPIA to attend a one-day conference to be held at the Belgian Senate, which will deal with two major topics: "How to reduce inequalities in the provision of healthcare?" and "How to promote innovation in the healthcare sector?".
The main players in Europe’s healthcare sector have been invited by the HST* and EFPIA** to attend a one-day conference to be held at the Belgian Senate, which will deal with two major topics:
- How to reduce inequalities in the provision of healthcare
- How to promote innovation in the healthcare sector
*Health, Science & Technology Group (HST) is an association bringing together the main players in the biopharmaceutical sector established in Belgium. The HST’s aim is to protect and boost R&D, production and export activities in order to consolidate Belgium’s status as an investment location.
** EFPIA (European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations) represents the pharmaceutical industry in Europe. The EFPIA is made up of 31 national associations and 44 leading pharmaceutical companies. It acts in Europe as the voice of the 2 200 companies devoted to the research, development and marketing of new medicines intended to improve the health and quality of life of the planet’s inhabitants.
